Cooking's not only a great life skill, it leads to healthier, more adventurous eating too. Here's a book about “real” food, not just cup cakes and treats. Aimed at the 7+ age group (although a lot of my adult friends have confessed that they will be using it) it’s both challenging and fun. (Pavilion 2016)
Here's a collection of truly modern recipes for beans, chickpeas and lentils to tempt meat-eaters and vegetarians alike. (Pavilion 2013) You may like to read one of the great book reviews at The Foodie Bugle, Daily Mail or About.Com
The Food of Northern Spain ( Pavilion 2005) was shortlisted for the André Simon Memorial Award 2005. The book takes a culinary tour across the Northern third of Spain; from Galicia in the west, through Asturias, Cantabria and the Basque Country to Catalonia in the east. The collection includes recipes and ingredient tips from restaurant chefs and domestic cooks alike.
